English Makes Sense!

I am an Inclusion Faciliator in a Kdg-5th grade building.  Read Well is the adopted curriculum that I have to use although I add in many areas of Orton Gillingham.  My problem is that the district does not have an adopted curriculum for spelling (for special ed students). As a result, I really struggle in teaching spelling.  I am so use to teaching spelling through the Orton Gillingham program but with using Read Well I am unable to use the same structure. I have looked in the Birch book as well as Unlocking Literacy and have gotten some ideas.  However, I still seem to be all over the place with teaching spelling.  Can anyone offer any suggestions on what I should do or use for a spelling program?
