This Newsletter points to numerous resources to help teachers and tutors get started with Structured Word Inquiry. I share stories from my workshops in schools in China, Germany and Switzerland in September 2014 that were sparked by one or two teachers attending a 2-day workshop over the years. 

Aside from practical resources for getting started, I try to show how a couple of teachers just taking the small step of making sense of spellings through scientific inquiry with word sums and matrices keeps turning into long term fundamental changes in practice for individual teachers, and for schools.
